Just wanted to post a quick note about our visit to the Civil Affairs office on the 23rd. It was a pretty big event. We had the largest group of returning adoptees that the office has hosted to date as a single group. There was coverage from the local newspaper and China News. This morning I received newspaper articles in both Chinese and English with the stories from the event as a whole. We also received a DVD with the news cast in Chinese, they did a 4-5 minute segment. Many families were represented in the newscast, and Lily and I were seen receiving a gift from the Minister of Civil Affairs. Pretty exciting. I need to do some additional picture editing, and then we should get a blog post up again some time tomorrow.
